Day One: Taking Stock of Where We Are Now

Regional government is undergoing expansive evolution, as a result new roles and responsibilities are emerging. The first day therefore centred upon whether or not the original SCP philosophy, objectives and delivery methodology were:

Still appropriate today, particularly in the light of Sub-National Review.
Adequate to address the changing needs of the regions.

The inter-regional workshops formed a key part in this evaluation, giving delegates the opportunity to share experience and learn how SCP is being applied in the different regions.
